Lyrics

I don't exist - what you see are just some bits and bytes.
Colour information for your eye - a visual appearance compiled
of trained patterns in well-known design.
What you believe to see is the truth about a person, an idea of it;
but the truth is: you see nothing real, you see, just what you want to see,
just what we want you to see.

what you wish is what you see
  just a remix of reality
  in a virtual existence
  my virtual existence

  white noise of vacuity
  blueprint for an entity
  in a virtual existence
  my virtual existence

You make notes, you write messages, you think that you communicate,
you try to tell the world what you like and read what others pretend
to like. You take part in this simulation of relationship,
a digital community, the image of society, and think that you at least
see the shadow of something real; but the truth is: you see nothing real,
you even don't see the digital mirror image of something real,
you see, just what you want to see, just what we want you to see.

what you wish is what you see
  just a remix of reality
  in a virtual existence
  my virtual existence

  white noise of vacuity
  blueprint for an entity
  in a virtual existence
  my virtual existence

switch off the light
  if you wanna see
watch the stars at night
  "feel" their light for free
network of light
  for your universe
data stream so bright
  message in reverse
